SOIL MECHANICS LABORATORY

In soil mechanics laboratory we can able to find the particle size of the fine aggregate, Specific gravity of soil, Shrinkage limit of soil, Moisture content of soil, Liquid and plastic limit, Proctor compaction, Direct shear, Field density etc… Through this laboratory students can learn about soil properties as per Indian Standards.

CONCRETE & HIGHWAY ENGINEERING LABORATORY

In Concrete and Highway Engineering Laboratory, the student can able to get a knowledge in fallowing experiments like Workability of concrete, Strength of concrete, Aggregate impact value, Vicat Needle Apparatus, Le Chatelier mould, Vibrating Machine, Flow Table, Blaine’s Air Permeability Apparatus for Cement Testing, Bitumen content value, Bitumen viscosity, Bitumen penetration, Ductility Testing etc…Also through this laboratory students can learn about concrete, aggregate and bitumen properties as per Indian Standards

ENVIRONMENTAL ENGINEERING LABORATORY

In the Environmental Engineering Laboratory experiments like, pH value , Turbidity value, Optimum Coagulant Dosage, hardness value, iron value, fluoride value, Sulphate value present water and suspended, volatile and fixed solids, B.O.D value, C.O.D value and Bacteriological Analysis in wastewater etc can be known also through this laboratory students can learn about water and waste water properties as per Indian Standards

ENGINEERING SURVEY I & II LABORATORY

In the Engineering surveying I and II laboratory experiments like the horizontal distance measurements using chain, tape and Theodolites. Levelling using dumpy level, Measurement of horizontal angles by reiteration, Measurement of horizontal angles by repetition, Measurement of vertical angles, Measurement of horizontal distance by reiteration method, Theodolite survey traverse, Heights and distances – Triangulation, Trigonometric levelling –Single plane method, Trigonometric levelling –Double plane method, Tangential Tacheometry, Substance bar gradient joining instrument station and target at subtense bar Substance bar gradient joining instrument station and target at subtense bar Electronic distance metre, Determination of Azimuth, Setting out of foundation, Total station surveying etc.can be known through this laboratory students can learn about surveying concept which can be applicable in their day to day life
