The Department of Electronics and Instrumentation Engineering was established in the academic year 2011 and got into a state of solid consolidation, in the years that followed, with the innovation of technology. The Educational Objectives of the Electronics & Instrumentation Engineering (EIE) Programme represent major accomplishments that we expect our graduates to have achieved two to three years after graduation. More specifically our graduates are expected to design, analyze, develop and realize complex Electronics and Instrumentation Engineering problems, to apply the emerging technologies in instrumentation and allied fields, to work effectively as an individual and as a member of multidisciplinary team, to exhibit professionalism and ethical values in an eco friendly manner.
To be a leading centre of excellence in Electronics and Instrumentation Engineering by producing creative engineering graduates through quality education and practical training
To educate and develop the rural students as a fully accomplished human being by addressing the challenges of millennium
B.E - Degree in Electronics and Instrumentation Engineering (4 - Years)
Students are encouraged to undergo industrial training during the course of their academic program in order to instill in them, a thirst for the practical implementation of the various concepts learnt in the classroom. The EIE Association arranges industrial visits, technical seminars and workshops. The department also organizes personality development programs to enhance the overall personality of the students, to meet industrial requirements.
Upon completion of the degree, students will be prepared for careers in industry based companies that manufacture and apply instrumentation equipment for power plants, VLSI and embedded systems, robotics, aerospace and various other automation industries.
