About The Departement:

The department was established in 2009. The department has excellent lab facilities with state of the art equipment and it has highly qualified, experienced and committed faculty members. The department gives importance not only to academic education but also ethical values and personality development of students. The students of Mechanical Department regularly organize various technical and extracurricular events. The department has exclusive Computer Centers equipped with Core 2 Duo and number of Mechanical related software packages like Auto CAD, Desktop Inventor and Pro-E for CAD lab and packages like Pneumo Sim and Fluid Sim for CAM and Automation Lab and Ansys for Analysis Lab. The department gives continuous training program towards the placement of the students with BOSCH Rexroth training centre.

A mission of the Mechanical Engineering Department is to educate individuals to become creative, inquisitive and industries in both national and international arenas instilled with global knowledge and able to be leaders and pioneers in their field.

  1. To impart fundamental knowledge in mathematics, science and Mechanical Engineering to identify, analyze, evaluate and solve design problems in industrial environment using modern tools.
  2. To train the graduates to plan for the manufacture of engineering components through proper management practices, production methodologies, and industrial automation considering safety practices.
  3. To prepare the graduates in pursuing higher studies and research in the field of Mechanical Engineering and interdisciplinary courses.
  4. To inculcate in our graduates healthy interpersonal skills, entrepreneurship skills, communication skills, team work, adhering to professional, ethical practices and lifelong learning.
  1. Graduates will be able to apply the knowledge of Mathematics, Science and Engineering.
  2. Graduates will be able to design and conduct experiments, as well as to analyze and interpret data, and to apply the same in their career or entrepreneurship.
